Hrithik Roshan's "AGNEEPATH"- Most Awaited Movie Of The Year 2012

The image seems to have the 'Dahi Handi' festival as the back drop and Hrithik looks more fit than ever.
The remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Agneepath is directed by Karan Malhotra

"Audiences are looking forward to Hrithik's portrayal of the legendary Vijay Dinanath Chouhan while Sanjay Dutt's villainous look has stirred much curiosity. The promos have evoked very good reactions and we are anticipating a very encouraging response to the film,".

Agneepath, set to release on January 26, is directed by debutant Karan Malhotra.

Karan Johar’s remake of 1990’s film Agneepath, is in the news for all the right reasons. First, it was Katrina’s hottest item number, Chikni Chameli, which bollywood can’t get enough of these days. Secondly, it was Sanjay Dutt’s villainous looks that have stirred curiosity. Then it’s Hrithik-Priyanka chemistry recreated, last seen in Krrish (2006), which fans are desperately waiting for. Now it’s Hrithik Roshan’s intense look as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, revealed by the producer Karan Johar on twitter. While the original 1990 blockbuster starred Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa, Johar has roped in Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt to essay the roles of Vijay and Kancha Cheena (villain) respectively. Karan Malhotra, who has recreated this popular movie with a new star cast, says he shared a collaborative relationship with Hrithik.

‘Hrithik is a treat for every director. He loves to discuss, debate and most importantly be shocked. He thrives on such challenges. Once he is on, he gives full support to the film without any interference. He doesn’t work just for one character. He works for the entire film.” From the attention that the first look of Sunjay Dutt got, it seemed that antagonist may overshadow the hero but now that Hrithik’s macho look has been revealed, one can safely say he will have an equal deadly presence as the nemesis. Eyeing a January 26 release, this Dharma Production’s film will be distributed worldwide by Eros Entertainment whereas IMGC Global will be releasing it on minimum 20 screens in Pakistan.

Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie.

Only a topmost actress could have done justice to the song, says director Karan Malhotra.
Katrina Kaif has impressed producer Karan Johar so much with her "Chikni Chameli" turn that he has just increased his film “Agneepath’s” budget by Rs. 22.5 million or thereabouts. Correction: he has reduced his margin of profit earned for selling the film for that amount.
And how’s that? Well, KJo was so touched by Katrina for her not charging money for the cameo that he has decided to gift her a Ferrari sports car. The cup of generosity surely overfloweth, right?  For Katrina, it’s a super entry into Dharma Productions, probably the only top banner that had not signed her till now.
