Early life
Noor was born in Lahore, Pakistan. She is the cousin of actress Sana Nawaz. She has a younger sister, Fahria Bukhari, who is a contestant on the reality dance competition show, Nachley Season 3. Noor judged the first two seasons.
Films
Noor made her acting debut in 2000 and has since appeared in more than a dozen Urdu and Punjabi films. She left the film industry due to family issues, but returned back in 2009 with the film, Zill-e-Shah, alongside Shaan and Saima. She is also set to star in Bhai Log, alongside Nadeem, Shahmoon Abbasi, Moammar Rana, Meera and Saima. Noor signed a deal with Green Chillies Entertainment and SunsTD ld. productions to appear in their film Sasural Genda Phool directed by Mehdi Khanum, an filmmaking student. The film also features Faisal Qureshi in a opposite role.
The film is based on a family and their problems and would be filmed in Scotland, Pakistan and Germany. The music is composed by Shanee and Iman Ali will appear in a "musical number" for the film.
Television
Noor has also appeared in several television dramas and shows. She co-hosted a Pakistani family show on ARY Digital alongside Muzna Ibrahim in 2007. She also acted in the comedy series Colors directed by Fahim Burney.
As of 2010, she is the judge of Pakistan's biggest dance show, Nachley, alongside Humayun Saeed (first season) and Faisal Qureshi (second season).
Personal life
Noor married an Indian Hindu man during her time off her career. He lives in Dubai and owns an event and production company. Noor also lived in Dubai, however as of April 2008, she moved back to Lahore and filed for divorce shortly afterwards.She remarried director/producer Farooq Mengal in June 2010.The couple separated four months later due to family problems. Her father, Shahid Hussain accused Mengal of causing dire consequences towards his daughter. Noor demanded for a divorce.
