Rashmi Desai Sandhu  born Divya Desai on February 13 1986). She is an Indian Television actress. She is best known for playing the role of Tapasya Thakur (Tappu) in the popular television soap opera, Uttaran on Colors. She has also acted in Bhojpuri cinema.

 

Early life:

Rashami Desai was born as Divya Desai in Indore, Madhya Pradesh India. She did her schooling from J B Khot High School. Rashami is also a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer.She is happily married to her co-star Nandish Sandhu[Veer in Uttaran] in 2011.In 2012,she opoted out of the colors tv daily soap uttaran.

 

Career:

Rashmi Desai (Divya Desai) who started her career at a very early age got her first break in Ravan on Zee TV followed by Meet Mila De Rabba on Sony TV and started acting in the show Uttaran on Colors on June 20, 2009.
She has worked in few other serials including Pari Hoon Main.She has also done episodes for Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai. She has done reality shows like Comedy Circus, Maha Sangram, Zara Nachke Dikha, Crime Patrol, Big Money, Kitchen Champion Season 2.
