Diana Penty is an Indian model and film actress. Diana is best known for her role in movie "Cocktail". Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone are her co star in this movie.She is playing character of Meera. Meera is a pretty girl with desi values and attire, who comes to London from Delhi for a fresh start.

Early Life:

Penty's mother is Christian and her father is Parsi.Penty has completed her bachelors in Mass Media from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and wanted to focus on her modelling career thereafter.

First Appearance: 

The Indo-Italian Festival held in three cities in September 2005. She did the show for Trussadi and Ferre. Penty has done a lot of ramp shows with Marc Robinson, a print campaign for Westside, and a shoot for Wendell. 

Diana is often seen on the ramp, and has worked with the top designers and appeared in a number of advertisements.Diana Penty is the face of Maybelline and Garnier, which are both internationally recognized brands. In the very short time that Diana has been in New York, she has already shot for Bluefly and Neiman Marcus and has been booked by other renowned brands such as Forever 21 and Nordstrom. This is a testimony to Diana’s international acclaim. 

Career:

Penty started her career as a model, after she walked the ramp for Italian designers Trussadi and Ferre during the Indo-Italian Festival in September, 2005. Since then, she has worked with top designers such as Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal and Wendell Rodricks.

Penty rose to fame after becoming the brand ambassador of cosmetics company Maybelline, replacing Deepika Padukone.She began her stint at Maybelline with the launch of the New White Stay UV fashion range.She has also appeared in a number of advertisements, including an ad for Virgin Mobile,where she shared the screen with Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Genelia D'Souza.Furthermore, Penty featured on several magazine covers as well.

Films Debut:

Penty was earlier supposed to make her Bollywood debut in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor, but was later signed on toHomi Adajania's Cocktail instead, on Ali's suggestion.Penty will portray the character of Meera Gupta, a simple Indian girl with traditional values. She will star alongside Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Randeep Hooda.
