Biography:

Gauhar Khan is an Indian model, VJ and actress, most known for her prominent role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009). She is the sister of television actress Nigaar Z Khan. In 2010, she joined the cast of the first-ever Bollywood musical, Zangoora: The Gypsy Princeat Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, where she plays the female lead opposite Hussain Kuwajerwala, along with Kashmira Irani.

She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel Convent High School Lullanagar, Pune.

Gauhar has stated that she is a believing Muslim and stated "My belief in my religion teaches me that there is one God and one God alone. I also believe at some point in my life, everything that Islam teaches or expects their people to do, I’ll be able to do.

Gauhar Khan has acted in a couple of television as Ford Ikon and Tanishq jewellery. She has also modeled for Manish Malhotra.

In 2002, she participated in Femina Miss India contest and came fourth and Represented in India in Miss International contest that year.

Television:

Gauhar Khan started off with appearances in a couple of music videos.She has anchored the film gossip show Page 3 on Zoom Television.Recently she had participated in a popular celebrity dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa where she ended up as the runner up. She has also acted in a supporting role in Ishaqzaade(2012).

Gauhar Khan along with her sister Nigar Khan appeared in a TV show "The Khan Sisters" which was Indian version of "LIVING WITH KARDASHIANS" from west.
